Christine grew up in Connecticut playing competitive softball but otherwise gravitating towards solo alternative sports like skateboarding and snowboarding. Moving to Boston to attend college she captained the UMASS softball team as a catcher for four years as well as played volleyball. She continued to spend her winter weekends standing sideways and met her husband through skateboarding. During college she took up road biking, mainly as a form of transportation, that turned into a love of cycling that persists today.
After college she headed to New Hampshire with her husband in search of a snowier lifestyle and then one short year later moved to North Lake Tahoe. Missing competitive sports in 2006 she discovered roller derby and has played ever since, is a founding member of Sierra Regional Roller Derby, and plays for their WFTDA ranked travel team the Sierra All Stars.
Her love of health and fitness led her to complete her personal training certification from Lake Tahoe Community College and she has been a certified by the American College or Sports Medicine since 2011 as well as several other certifications. In 2014 she became a Mom, and opened Stay Gold Fitness & Athletics, a fitness facility currently in Tahoe Vista, CA. In 2015 Christine started obstacle course racing which led to a healthy obsession with trail running, racing, and training like never before. Christine spends her days training herself, and clients at her facility and outdoors, as well as online with LadyBoss personal results coaching. Her passion is to inspire the joy of movement in all people in order to live their best lives!
